We are open for Family drop-in Monday to Fridays 9:30-12:00pm, and an afternoon drop in on Wednesday, 1:00pm-4:30pm. We are closed the last Friday of each month.

In addition to Family drop-in, we offer parent and caregiver courses and workshops. Please refer to our seasonal newsletter for program dates and times.

What ages are the children who come to your drop-in?

WSFP welcomes all families with children between birth and 5 years; however, as children grow older, they begin attending daycares so average age is about 6 months to 3 years.

Do I need to be a member to use the toy lending library?

Who funds the programs?

In addition to membership/drop-in fee revenues, we receive funding from Province of British Columbia, donations from individual and business donors, and host various fundraisers throughout the year.

Are you affiliated with the other family places?

We operate independently but we do have a partnership with the Eastside Family Place, Marple Oakridge Family Place, Mount Pleasant Family Centre, and the South Vancouver Family Place. We are registered not-for profit organizations providing easy to access daily drop-in playroom and parenting programs in welcoming and supportive spaces.

Can I use my membership from the other family places?

The membership can only be used at the family place where you are registered as a member.

What activities can children do in the family place?
